Roland Garros experienced its first tennis grand slam on a Monday in 30 years which consequently increased the number of viewers online and enabled France-IX to reach a peak of 35Gbps on the usual stats. UEFA Euro 2012 follows the trend:
13th of June - The Netherlands vs Germany : +15Gbps
18th of June - Croatia vs Spain : +20Gbps
22nd of June - Germany vs Greece : +10Gbps
In average +20% .
One question remains with the Olympic Games coming up: Will France-IX explode its traffic stats as Usaïn Bolt may explode the 100 meter race?
…but also to IPv6 launch
IPv6 launch day (6th of June) generated another peak : +20% on the usual V6 traffic.
Since then this traffic doubled on France-IX.
